BBC does Earth Hour March 24, 2008

As Ant informed us this Saturday, March 29th is Earth Hour. Basically everyone is going to turn off their lights and non-essential electrical applicances for one hour starting at 8pm. I think BBC should participate. Ant suggested that we go see a movie or go to a mall, this way we can participate without sitting in the dark eating fondue. Please post your suggestions of what we can do.

Hope everyone is caught up on Wao for this week. I think there are many things to talk about or re-hash from last week.

Let’s meet at Duffey’s Bakery.
1225 S. Pearl Street
Denver, CO

See you there

PS – The next book is Nick Hornby’s How to be Good

What’s so Wondrous about Wao? March 13, 2008

Hello everyone!
Well we are on to Week 2 of Wao. I have to admit I don’t really know where the stories are going at this point. But I’m a little behind on the reading. So far in my opinion no one’s life has been very wondrous, so I’ll just have to wait for the “punch line” of the book!

It has been suggested to meet at Village Inn. I figured the one right off of 6th Avenue would be easy to find.
11903 W. 6th Avenue
Lakewood, CO

Read to page 233 Chiste Apocalyptus.

Kylle is out at a speech class for work this week (motivated by Rocket Science, of course), so I’m filling in.

We’ll meet at Common Ground (downtown) and read to Page 114 – “El Hollywood”.

See you Saturday!
